Orange Door Acres Farm

We are a small family farm located just outside Mount Elgin. Donna and I grew up in Cambridge. In 2012 we decided to follow our dreams and move to the country. We started raising poultry in 2014 for family and friends. In 2017 we became Artisanal Chicken farmers through the Chicken Farmers of Ontario. Since then we have been selected by the Chicken Farmer’s of Ontario to promote the Artisanal program. Live Small Town Magazine featured our farm in the fall 2018 edition as well as featured in numerous videos.

Our chickens are humanly raised without the use of antibiotics. Our birds are able to graze outdoors in the fresh country air. We feed our chickens the highest quality feed supplemented with vegetables and cracked corn. This contributes to a moist, rich flavour that appeals to both families and foodies alike. We offer a selection of cut up pieces, whole birds, sausage, meat pies and more. frozen and vacuum sealed to lock in the flavour and freshness. Our On Farm Outlet has a great selection of local cheese from Gunn’s Hill, Jensen, Bothwell and Mildmay as well as our own custom spice blends and local BBQ Sauces.
