Create lasting family memories for years to come in Oxford EMBRACE THE OXFORDCOUNTY There were over 90 cheese factories in Oxford County. Our history is as rich and milky as the 7300lb wheel of cheese once created in the county. Today, Oxford is home to ve di erent cheese makers making a massive variety of cheeses. In fact, the cheeses made in Oxford represent eleven di erent countries! So it only makes sense Oxford would be home to a Cheese Trail too! Travel along this curated trail for unique tastes, local cheese menu items, cheese factory tours, artisans and more. A long time ago… The Cheesemakers With ve di erent cheese makers in the county and three with physical locations you can visit, there’s no shortage of delicious cheese to taste. From Goudas and Brie to sharp Cheddars, Asiago, Paneer, Oaxaca and Feta, there are so many varieties to taste and all are made di erently. See how many you can taste! The Culture The Trail is more than just cheese though (although it is that too). Enjoy two small town museums that tell Oxford’s dairy story (including an actual cheese museum) and check out TheWoodstock Art Gallery too where you can pick up some great pottery to serve your cheese on. The Restaurants Want somebody to serve up that local cheese for you? No problem! The Cheese Trail is home to several restaurants and a brewery that serve up local cheese menu items. From epic cheese boards to paneer curry, arancini balls and deep fried cheese curds (yes, you read that correctly) there are so many ways to serve up Oxford Cheese. Pick one or several. We’re sure you’ll love them. The Retail and Artisans Of course, you’ll want a souvenir that lasts a little bit longer than the cheese you bring home! Our Oxford retailers and artisans are serving up amazing serving dishes, brie bakers, local goat’s milk soap, accoutrements, charcuterie boards, local milk chocolate and yeah ok…a lot of cheese. 45
