Learn Mitered Squares at Thoughtful Artisan

Have you been eyeing some of those sweet mitered square blanket patterns, or maybe a scrappy garment project has caught your eye? 

Join Sharon for this mitered square knitting workshop that is sure to build your confidence through hands-on learning! You will cover all the foundational knowledge for constructing mitered squares, and learn how to join as you go–which limits sewing to the weaving of a few ends.

Participants will be working on a cute dishcloth/hot pad project, and all supplies and materials are included! Recognizing that each learner will be working at their own pace, you will complete as much of this project as possible in the class time. However, rest assured that all concepts will be covered, and there are written instructions to take home and help you finish. Once you master this technique, the possibilities are endless.

 Pre-requisite Skills Required:

• Participants should be comfortable with knitting, purling, increasing, and decreasing stitches.

Materials:

• Please bring paper and pen if you’d like to take notes.
• Needles, yarn, and pattern are supplied to you on the day of the class.

Duration & Format:

• 1 in person class, 3 hours

Class size is limited to a maximum of 6 participants.
