Golden Hour Palettes
Want to come and do some pleinair watercolour painting, with your own supplies and snacks, with minimal instruction? Want to soak up the golden hour and some new skills? This is the experience for you!
Golden Hour Palettes with Aggie Armstrong
Book a time at the Perennial Palettes garden for an hour and a half (6-7:30 pm) experience. Tour the garden and do some pleinair painting of your surroundings, using the art supplies you already own. Each session, there will be a theme to guide you, and artist Aggie Armstrong will be around to paint with you and offer if you need some minimal instruction.
What to Expect
Get ready to slow down, literally smell the flowers, and breathe in the fresh rural Ontario air as you roll up to Aggie Armstrong’s garden plot. Located on a beautiful property on Oxford’s back roads, you’ll be greeted by Aggie- an energetic ball of good vibes all wrapped up into a person!
With different themes every week (for example how to paint grass, trees, petals, full flowers, and clouds). For each session there is a minimum four people. You can also book for a 3 session bundle to take advantage of more than one theme. Please note, there is flexibility in booking for themes (ie. you don’t have to book for the same class for the full week, unless you wish to).
Bring your own art supplies or purchase from Aggie's shop, stocked with professional brushes, high-grade watercolour pads, quality watercolours, and more. This experience is available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from July - September for $35/per person. A calming reset amongst the flowers awaits—book a spot today.
