Astrophysicist Dr. Lynn Cummings has always found solace in science, but as her life shifts, she begins to feel a void in the certainty she once relied on. When an unidentified flying object approaches Earth and a journalist misquotes her, she invites him to witness its passage, unsure of what they will discover beyond the stars.
