Apple Crunch
Ingredients:
- ¼ tsp. Baking Soda
- ¾ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- ¼ cup melted Butter
- ¾ cup Oak Manor Organic Oat Flakes
- 1 quart peeled and sliced apples, found at Sundown Farms Country Market
- ⅛ tsp. sea salt or salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp. Oak Manor Organic Unbleached Cake and Pastry Flour
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Pare and slice the apples.
- Combine the 1 cup sugar, salt, cinnamon, and flour and sprinkle over the apples.
- Put apple mixture in the bottom of a greased baking dish
- Combine the oat flakes, brown sugar and soda.
- Add melted butter and rub into oat flake mixture to make crumbs.
- Place the crumbs on top of the apples, patting them down evenly.
- Bake at 375F for approx. 40 minutes.
